On Friday, May 6th, more than $115,000 in scholarships was awarded to members of the student body. The college is grateful to the private donors and churches who believe in the importance of investing in men and women who are training for the ministry. The following scholarships were presented:
Determined Ministries Evangelism Scholarship – A $500 scholarship presented by alumnus Richard Harper to a student who has excelled in displaying the gifts of an evangelist.

Alfred B. Smith Music Scholarship – A $500 scholarship presented by alumni David and Ginger Smith to a student in recognition of diligence and discipline in the field of music.
Josiah Crow
Dr. Bill Wingard and World Wide New Testament Baptist Mission — Pastoral Major Scholarship – A $500 scholarship for an Ambassador Baptist College pastoral student that demonstrates a clear vision, passion, and desire for world evangelization. This scholarship is limited to male students who are classified as rising juniors.

Dr. Bill Wingard and World Wide New Testament Baptist Mission — Missions Major Scholarship – A $500 scholarship for an Ambassador Baptist College missions student that demonstrates a clear vision, passion, and desire for world evangelization. This scholarship is limited to male students who are classified as rising juniors.
Cody Carden
Charles Sheppard Memorial Music Scholarship – A $300 scholarship presented by Mrs. Joan Nix Sheppard to a student in recognition of the display of exemplary character, diligence and discipline in piano and voice.
Larissa Downs
The Cloud of Witnesses Scholarship – A $500 award given by the Ambassador Baptist College Alumni Association in memory of those alumni who have finished their earthly race and have gone ahead to join the “great cloud of witnesses” in heaven. This award is given with the prayer that the recipient will run the race with patience and faithfully carry the baton of ministry.
Kayla Schenk
The Ryan Burchwell Scholarship – The Ryan Burchwell scholarship is presented by the Burchwell family and friends in memory of Ryan Burchwell to a male student who is preparing for the Gospel ministry.
Kaleb Browder
The Robert R. Vonderhaar Scholarship is awarded to students who display a zeal for ministry and good Christian character. The recipients were chosen after undergoing a personal interview process and will be awarded scholarships in excess of $4,000 each.

Resident Advisor Scholarship – This work-aid scholarship program is for students of exemplary character chosen by the Administration. RAs provide supervision in the dormitory and work in support roles at the college. In exchange, they receive a weekly stipend and a scholarship that covers the vast majority of room board and tuition.

Assistant Resident Advisor Scholarship – This work-aid scholarship program provides $2000 each semester for students chosen by the Administration to assist Resident Advisors.

Pastor Gene Cole Scholarship – A $7,000 scholarship (each student) presented by the Hoagland Family Christian Foundation to two pastoral students in honor of Gene Cole, Pastor of Devonshire Baptist Church.

Aquila Award – A $1,000 scholarship presented to a male student in recognition of outstanding Christian leadership.
Charlie Krafcheck
Priscilla Award – A $1,000 scholarship presented to a female student in recognition of outstanding Christian leadership.
Ana Granado
The Kolb-Kennedy Memorial Missionary Scholarship – A $2,000 scholarship from Shining Light Baptist Church awarded to a missions student who will be doing a missions internship during the 2022 summer.
Sara Beth Graves
Wayne Kirk Missions Scholarship – A $1,000 scholarship presented to a missions student in recognition of outstanding Christian testimony and service.
Susan Granado
Women in Ministry Award – This award is given to a graduating young lady in recognition of her exemplary Christian character and her diligence and faithfulness to the Lord. Included is a financial gift to help her start a women’s ministry in her local church or to enhance an already established ministry.
