Passing of Norman Johnston

Norman Johnston

Norman JohnstonOn the eve of departing for a missions trip to Madagascar, missions professor Norman Johnston went home to be with the Lord. He passed away of a heart attack while at home.

After serving the Lord for years on the mission fields of Korea and Vancouver and pastoring in Pennsylvania, he joined our faculty in 2002. His joyful smile and passion for missionary work have impacted many students and friends through the years. He will be sorely missed. His dream and passion was to see the fulfillment of Mark 16:15, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Please be in prayer for his wife Joy and his children during this time.
