On May 8, 2009, during the Commencement Exercises for the 20th graduating class, Mr. Alton Beal was installed as the President of Ambassador Baptist College.

On May 3, 2010, an honorary Doctorate of Divinity was bestowed on Mr. Alton Beal by the Puerto Rico Baptist College.
